YABUSAME (horseback archery) and dinner services which are vintage religious services continued from more than 650 years ago are performed.
Also known as “Ginger Festival”
Gingers and Paper Fans thrown by warriors on horseback are believed as lucky charm.

Theme of this year is “Magic in the night sky”.
Synchronized art between Japanese traditional fireworks, and high-quality and vigorous music.
Although fireworks can be seen extensively, it is recommended to appreciate at supporters seats and paid-bleachers where are able to enjoy fireworks and music from up close.

The Iwaki-Odori is the common dance for all citizens, and performed at the last day of star festival created in 1981.
Closing road in front of the station, dancing down the street with their voices rising up together to sing, "Donwasse!"
Festival music “DONDODO, DODODO, DON” renders waves beating NANAHAMA beach and crowds surging toward IWAKI city, and “Wasse” ‘s WA gives expression to human’s harmony and SSE renders fullness and momentum.

Soma Nomaoi having history more than 1,000 years is traditional horse cultural event which is designated as National Significant Intagible Folk Cultural Property.
